Since 1952, Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc. has been making a difference in communities near and far. Members are encouraged to work with organizations at all levels, from our National Service Partners to Project I.M.P.A.C.T. to local organizations. Through service, our sisters are able to create the strongest of bonds and empower one another to contribute to our communities and bring about positive change in the world.

At each biennial convention, two areas for Project I.M.P.A.C.T. (Individuals Making Progress Across Communities Together) are selected by a vote of the membership. The two areas chosen during the 36th National Convention are Teen & Young Adult Mental Health and Heart Health Awareness. Members are encouraged to hold service project and philanthropic efforts to support these initiatives.
